Whey Protein Reviews

Not all protein supplements are the same and most people do not realize this. It is important that when choosing your proteins that you understand what you are looking for and which are considered to be the best to consume. There are a lot of ordinary whey protein reviews out there but in this article you are going to learn which is actually superior to all the rest.

Also, this is based on a number of factors like the organic nature, how much manufacturing has gone into each product, the biological value, and which are the most beneficial for you. This is not based on a taste test because most products that taste good are loaded with sugar and artificial sweeteners or flavors which is counterproductive for a health supplement.

Muscle Milk is a well known product but I am sorry to say that it is not at all close to as beneficial for you to consume. How do I know this? Well first off there are two things problems with this product. The milk that is used in the production of the whey protein in Muscle Milk is not from grass fed cows. This means that the milk is from grain fed, feedlot cows which are typically pumped full of all kinds of antibiotics.

The healthier the cow means healthier whey protein powder and this just is not the case with Muscle Milk. I would steer clear of this product and if I had rate it honestly, I would give it a 1 out of 5 stars.

Next would be one of the most notable whey proteins out there and that is Optimum Whey Gold Standard. This is an isolate that is used by lot of people in the body building industry but it is safe to say it is far from the best out there. One of the problems is that though it claims to be an isolate if you read the label you see it says it has protein blends. This means that they do additional manufacturing and processing which takes out a lot of the natural organic quality that makes whey protein so beneficial.

Also it is denatured which means that it also is heated at higher temperatures and in doing so kills a lot of the natural qualities. Lastly, it does not come from grass fed cows. Much like muscle milk this is a big problem when it comes to paying for what you get. Grass fed whey protein is hands down the best you can find out there on the market. While this stuff is still known to taste well and is still good for you I would give it 2.5 out of 5 stars.

This brings us to our next two and far superior whey protein powders out there.

The first is Energy First which is a 100% raw organic grass fed whey protein powder and also an undenatured whey protein too. Undenatured protein, or as it is also called cold-processed, is heated below 118 degrees and in doing so keeps a lot of the natural state of the vitamins, minerals, and enzymes plus lots more. This is the closest to a naturally organic protein that you can find.

Whenever you are looking for a whey protein powder supplement you want to make sure you are finding an undenatured whey because it is the best whey protein powder you will find. Energy First is an isolate as well which are great for athletes, body builders and any other person who exercises regularly.

Because of the high quality of whey and that it comes from the healthiest cows that are free to roam in pastures year round makes this one main reason why this is considered a superior whey. Also the cows are fed a healthy diet of pesticide free grass, not grains, and also are not given hormones of any kind. This ensures that the dairy is top quality.

Lastly, Energy First has a perfect biological quality of 100%. It is for this reason why the food and health administration has claimed it is not only the number one protein powder on the planet but it is also considered to be a superfood.

A perfect biological value means that your body will use and absorb all the nutritional benefits that is contained within the whey. This is why it is so superior to any other whey protein isolate out there on the market and why it we rated it 5 out of 5 stars.

Similar to Energy First is its counterpart Essential Whey. The main difference is that this is a concentrate as opposed to an isolate. While Essential Whey contains the perfect biological value of 100% also and is made from 100% raw organic grass fed whey, it is less protein by weight than isolates.

This is what is great for your everyday person to consume that might not lead quite an active lifestyle like a person who exercises a lot. A concentrate is like eating an apple while an isolate is like drinking that apple juice. While the concentrate is more organic the isolates still have a lot of great qualities but some of the manufacturing changes the benefits a bit. Essential Whey is the best of the best when it comes to concentrates which is why we rated this a 5 out of 5 stars as well.

These are the main reasons that separate an ordinary whey protein from the best whey protein powder that you will find out there on the market.
